2021 Christian Volunteer Challenges Week #1

We know you are busy and don’t always have time to search for our daily challenges. This year, we will send a weekly update containing all of the challenges for that week. Then you can read, print and/or use at your convenience. Feel free to message us to know what types of tips you find most helpful.

Monday: It’s a New Year and we are doing some planning, too. What free resources, blog posts or workshops would you like to see us add this year? Tell us in a comment below or dm us privately. Looking forward to serving you in the coming year!

Tuesday: Reflection is a lost art in our world. Teaching your Bible students how to reflect on scripture is one of the best gifts you can give them.

Wednesday: We have a new, free resource! For your challenge today, read our new Faith Based Tutoring Best Practices guide. It’s designed to help ministries balance the spiritual and secular in a ministry that often becomes secular very quickly. If you are starting a new ministry, it can also help you avoid common pitfalls and plan a ministry that’s spiritually impactful for students.

Thursday: If you want a sunflower garden, you need a plan. You have to prepare the soil, plant the seeds and keep them watered if you want a field of beautiful flowers. If you want your Bible students to grow to become faithful, productive Christians, you need a godly strategic plan to give them as much support as you possibly can. We have tons of free resources to help. www.teachonereachone.org

Friday: Do you know what your students have experienced since your last class? Was it stressful? Can you help? Sometimes just listening to them vent is the best gift you can give. Especially to kids who are all virtual in their school at the moment. Touching base regularly is a great way to reflect God’s love to them.
