- Students will learn some people will try to trick God’s people. It is important to make sure what they say is correct (in our case today) by comparing it to the Bible.

- Bethel was already mentioned in the Bible as the place where Abraham built an altar and Jacob had his dream.
- The Gibeonites became woodcutters and water carriers for the Israelites.
