• Students will learn it is important for parents to remind even their adult children to obey God.
• Students will learn it is important to seek godly wisdom over material things.
• Students will learn sometimes God will also choose to bless us with material things, but God is more concerned we have godly wisdom.

Interesting Facts:

• When Adonijah asked to marry Abishag, it was in another attempt to secure the throne for himself. In ancient times, new rulers were considered legitimate heirs when they married the previous ruler’s wives and/or concubines.
• The story of the tow women and the baby has been used by many people for years as the ultimate example of judicial wisdom.
