- In spite of many who claim Jesus was referring to a specific gate in the city of Jerusalem, it is more likely he was actually talking about the real eye of a real needle.
- Although some have claimed Jesus was expecting Christians to live a life rejecting material things, the passage is more that God wants us to sacrifice anything that keeps us from putting Him first.
