Interesting Facts:
- The ruins of the temple of Baal-Berith mentioned in Judges chapter 9 have been found.
- Many scholars think Jephthah’s daughter was not killed, but was redeemed and lived the remainder of her life as a virgin working at the Tabernacle. Others think she was indeed put to death to fulfill her father’s promise.
