Building the Temple

Scripture: I Kings 6-8 and 2 Chronicles 2-7

Learning Objectives:

• Students will learn God keeps His promises.
• Students will learn God often has very specific commands and He expects us to obey them exactly as given.
• Students will learn God expects us to praise and worship Him.

Interesting Facts:

• Solomon’s Temple stood for about 250-400 years until it was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar.
• No archaeology can be done on the Temple mound where the ruins of the various Temples are located because the land is controlled by the Muslims and the Dome of the Rock.
