Guiding Question:

Materials: Access to the following resource: https://www.healthline.com/health/hygiene-habits-kids, soap and water for hand washing, hand sanitizer, tissues, etc.

Procedure: Review the story of Peter Heals. Remind students that Peter used this healing so he could share with people about God. Miracles helped people to know Jesus and have faith in Him because it was the only way miracles could be explained. Explain that Peter was open to serving and sharing his faith with others. God wants us to be excited about sharing our faith with others because helping others become Christians further grows and strengthens God’s Kingdom. Have students share who they usually go to if they have a problem. After students share, explain that while talking to others about our problems is a great thing to do, God wants us to always come to Him about our problems so that He can help us and give us guidance. He cares about us and our problems even when we feel like nobody else cares about our problems.

Introduce the activity. Teach and help students practice hygiene habits that will keep them from spreading germs. These include proper hand washing, sneezing and coughing into elbow or tissue, etc. (https://www.healthline.com/health/hygiene-habits-kids)
