Balaam

Scripture: Numbers 22-24

Learning Objectives:

• Students will learn God expects everyone to obey Him.
• Students will learn God often goes out of His way to remind us to obey Him.
• Students will learn it is wise to not add to or take away from what God has told us to say.

Interesting Facts:

• Balaam was mentioned in an inscription found near Moab. It was written around 800 BC about his earlier adventures. Evidently, he was well known as a seer in the area.
• The fact that Balak felt it necessary to ask Balaam to curse Israel meant he was very afraid of losing to them in battle.
