Interesting Facts:
- Dead bodies were washed. In Jerusalem, they were buried the same day. Outside of Jerusalem, people were given up to three days to bury the dead. The body remained in the house until burial.
- Dorcas is also known by the name Tabitha. It was not uncommon for people to have a Hebrew and a Greek name.
