Interesting Facts:

• Jonah was a prophet during the reign of Jeroboam II and one of his prophecies is mentioned in 2 Kings 14:25.
• The words used to describe the creature that swallowed Jonah may or may not actually be a whale. Technically the translation is more like a sea creature.
