Naaman and More of Elisha’s Ministry

Scripture: 2 Kings 4:8-6:7

• Students will learn God sometimes asks us to do things that don’t make sense to us.
• Students will learn we need to trust God knows what is best for us even if we don’t understand what is happening.
• Students will learn even though we have free choice, God expects us to obey Him, even if we don’t like what He has told us to do.

Interesting Facts:

• Naaman took the dirt from Elisha’s yard home with him probably because he believed having that dirt would mean Elisha’s God would continue to bless him.
• Coins were not in use during this time period so precious metals were wighed and used as money.
